Making a difficult time that little bit easier.

It can be a difficult time when planning to remember the life of someone close to you. At The Boxmoor Lodge our considerate and compassionate staff have the experience required to ensure they have a memorable day.
Boxmoor Lodge can cater up 30 - 60 guest in our Conservatory Restaurant. We can provide a funeral high tea menu. Once you confirmed your booking there is no pressure to confirm the final numbers until 48hrs prior to the day.
The Boxmoor Lodge has 24 comfortable bed rooms should your guests wish to stay overnight.


Arranging funeral reception 
The Boxmoor Lodge can provide a tribute table should you wish where pictures, memory books can be displayed. Also floral tributes can be displayed at the Hotel under the chestnut tree. Arrange transport of them with the funeral directors.
On arrival your guests will be welcomed and offered a selection of tea and coffee. A cash or account bar can be arranged, wine can be served with the food. Sometimes a family member or guest wish to say a few words or propose a toast. Prosecco or Champagne can be served for this.
Shortly after the cortege arrive the food will be served. Please ensure when ordering you consider dietary requirements. We allow 2 - 3 hours for the reception.
